Three people injured in crash near Bagley


BAGLEY, Minn. — Two North Dakota seniors and a young woman were hurt after getting into an a car crash west of Bagley.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 2 and County Road 7 in Clearwater County on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 23.

Kaitlyn Martine, 19, of Bagley, was driving south on County Road 7 when she failed to yield at the intersection.

Merlen Loken and Kandace Loken, both 65 and from Arvilla, N.D., were driving west on Highway 2.

Their car crashed into Martine's rear passenger side.


According to the State Patrol, roads were icy at the time of the crash.

Martine was taken to Essentia Health in Fosston, Minn., for non-life threatening injuries.

Both Lokens were taken to a Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, but their condition and the extent of their injuries have not been released.
