WEST FARGO — Northbound traffic on Ninth Street East will reduce to two lanes at 13th Avenue East beginning Friday, May 17, for crews to finalize work on the intersection.

This reduction is necessary for crews to raise a gate valve in the northbound left turn lane of Ninth Street East.

Beginning Friday, both left turn lanes of northbound Ninth Street East will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for crews to complete the work. The remaining two lanes will provide a left-turn-only lane and a lane for right turns and through traffic.

The work is expected to last one day, weather permitting. Traffic will remain reduced for five days following the work to allow the new concrete to cure. During that time, the western left turn lane will reopen and traffic will utilize a dedicated left turn lane, one through lane and one lane for through traffic and right turns.
