VALLEY CITY, N.D. — A 58-year-old Valley City man was injured and charged with driving under the influence after a crash which took place two miles south of his hometown.
Frankie Coniglio was driving a 2005 Ford Expedition along 119th Ave. SE when he lost control on the gravel roadway, drove into a ditch and rolled.
The Ford came to rest on its driver's side, requiring Coniglio to be rescued from the vehicle. He was transported to CHI Mercy Health in Valley City to treat injuries sustained in the crash.
The Barnes County Sheriff's Office, Barnes Ambulance and Valley City Fire and Rescue joined the North Dakota Highway Patrol in responding to the crash.
