With the forecast calling for cold and rainy conditions at the Fargo Marathon, it's sometimes nice to take a look back at past marathons to remind us all of the highly fluid nature spring temperatures have this time of year.
With this being the Fargo Marathon's 15th year running, there can be a lot of variation seen in the temperatures on race day.
They range from 33 degrees in 2015 to 62 degrees in 2011. But you can also see, the dates really vary.
Thirty-three degrees came on the earliest May date for the Fargo marathon, May 9. On that same date in 2009 it was 34 degrees at 7 a.m.
The latest dates for the marathon are May 21 and 22, and they brought he highest temperatures at 62 degrees and 60 degrees.
