The driver of the semi, 22-year-old Inder Singh of New York, was taken to Essential Health in Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries. Singh was driving westbound on I-94 about 5:40 p.m. when strong storm winds blew over his 2019 Freightliner semi with empty box trailer, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The semi tipped onto its left side and partially blocked the westbound lane, which was closed for about a half-hour until the truck could be cleared of the highway. The driver was wearing a seatbelt.
