FARGO — Snow totals over the past 24 hours didn't quite hit as high on the ruler as they did in the southern half of the Midwest, but that doesn't mean Fargo-Moorhead and the surrounding areas escaped Mother Nature's final, icy farewell to 2020.

Across the river in Moorhead, snowfall totals were just a hair under Fargo's, measuring in at exactly 4 inches, the weather service said.
