UPDATE: Interstates I-94 and I-29 are now open, motorists should still use caution

FARGO ��� The North Dakota Department of Transportation along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol have opened Interstate 94 and Interstate 29 in the southeastern corner of the state.

Minnesota highways are open as well. Motorists in both states should still use caution with traveling because the roads are partially covered with snow.

A travel alert remains in effect for Grand Forks and the surrounding areas due to snow-covered roads.

Travelers are encouraged to monitor road conditions.
