Crews working on Jamestown roof after collapse

JAMESTOWN, N.D. — The weight of the snow is being felt all over the region after several roofs and awnings have collapsed.

A roof collapsed right near the Salvation Amy building in downtown Jamestown.

WDAY called an spoke to Jamestown police this morning. They believe just the awning part collapsed, with nothing actually entering the building itself.

It happened just before 4 p.m. Thursday, March 14.

A sergeant said it's an older building and there are no known injures.
