Aspry named assistant principal at West Fargo High School

West Fargo High School will receive next assistant principal

WEST FARGO — Jon Asprey has accepted the position as assistant principal for West Fargo High School.

Asprey started his career in education with West Fargo Public Schools in 2017. He was a teacher and assistant coach for West Fargo High School until accepting the position as their dean of students in 2021.

Asprey holds a bachelor's degree in health and physical education from Concordia College-Moorhead, and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Lamar University.

After interviewing and subsequently selecting Mr. Asprey from a pool of highly qualified candidates, Principal Rachel Bachmeier said, “As our Dean of Students, Mr. Asprey has fostered meaningful relationships with our learners, their families, and our educators that will serve as a solid foundation for his work as Assistant Principal. He embodies Packer Pride, and we are excited to have him step into this new role in service of our community."

Asprey will assume his new position at West Fargo High School on July 1.
