WEST FARGO — Diamond Rio will be live in concert on Midco Stage at Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights on Saturday, August 27.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m., with an opening act to be announced at a later date.

Diamond Rio signed to Arista Records and in 1991 with the release of “Meet In The Middle” and became the first country music group in history to reach No. 1 with a debut single. The band is also known for their hits “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” “One More Day,” “Beautiful Mess,” “Unbelievable,” “In A Week or Two."

The country band recently celebrated its 30th anniversary with members Gene Johnson (mandolin, tenor vocals), Jimmy Olander (lead guitar, acoustic guitar, banjo), Brian Prout (drums), Marty Roe (lead vocal), Dan Truman (keyboards), and Dana Williams (bass guitar, baritone vocals).

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, May 16, at . Tickets are priced at $34 and $49 plus fees.
