Firefighters put out vehicle fire in attached garage in West Fargo

No injuries were reported, fire officials said.

WEST FARGO — Fire crews were dispatched to 309 Cherry Court for a blaze in an attached garage shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, according to the West Fargo Fire Department.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy, black smoke coming from the garage, the department said. Crews discovered a vehicle on fire inside.

Firefighters knocked down the flames and contained the blaze within minutes, fire officials said.

The garage sustained heavy smoke damage and minimal fire damage. The cause of the fire was under investigation Wednesday evening, and the cost of damage had not yet been determined.

No injuries were reported, fire officials said.
