WEST FARGO — The West Fargo Public Library once again offers free movie screenings. Opportunities for the public to play mahjong at the library will return Oct. 4.

Movie screenings take place at 1:30 p.m. Mondays in Meeting Room 1 at the library. Each month has a different theme. September’s theme is Oscar-nominated films. In October, all films will feature Indigenous stories, which falls in line with the theme of this year’s One Book, One Community program. Residents can view the full lineup of films online at westfargolibrary.org/movies.

Mahjong will return to the library in October. Mahjong & More: Community Game Time will take place from 1:30 – 3:30 Tuesdays beginning Oct. 4. The library will provide an assortment of games for players of all skill levels, including Mahjong. Members of the public are invited to bring their own games as well.

“We are excited to bring these programs back to the library,” Kirsten Hengain, West Fargo Public Library’s adult services manager said. “The library is a place to learn new skills and get assistance with many things, but we strive to provide entertainment for all ages too. These programs are targeted toward our large senior population in West Fargo, but anyone is welcome to join.”
