WEST FARGO — Mac and cheese lovers can test their taste buds at a mac and cheese cook-off Wednesday, August 24.

The event will be held at 5:30 p.m., at Rendezvous Park in West Fargo.

The family-friendly event, which is open to the public, will gather Democratic-NPL celebrities for entries, judging, and prizes, according to local organizers.

State and local district candidates will be on hand, some with their own specialty mac and cheese entries.

In addition to the judges’ selections, taste-testers will have a chance to weigh in with People’s Choice and Kids’ Choice awards.

Hot dogs and other refreshments will be available for a free will donation. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and have a picnic with the whole family.

Tickets are on sale for $20. Children 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance on the ND Dem-NPL District 16 Facebook page or at the door.
