WEST FARGO — Stage West's summer spectacular, Legally Blonde, will open at the Essentia Health Plaza at the Lights this weekend.

Legally Blonde will paint the Midco Stage pink when the curtain rises, Friday, July 29. Shows will be held at 7:30 p.m. July 29-31 and again Aug. 2-4.

"This will be their marquee event," West Fargo Events Executive Director Mike Amundson said. "It's going to be a great show."

Legally Blonde is an award-winning Broadway musical based on the hit movie of the same name and follows college sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods as she puts down the credit card, hits the books and heads for Harvard Law School in pursuit of her boyfriend Warner, who just dumped her for someone more serious.
