WEST FARGO — A holiday favorite is moving into a tempoary home in West Fargo.
Hickory Farms, the famous gift baskets of meat and cheese will open for the holidays at a temporary location near HomeGoods and Famous Footwear in West Fargo.

The American Retailer is famous for its gift baskets that include everything from meat and cheese to wine and sweet treat baskets. The company was founded in 1951 by Richard Ransom who found success selling his products of specialized cheeses at local fairs. He soon moved into his first storefront which opened in 1959 in Toledo, Ohio. in a span of about 20 years, by 1989, Hickory Farm seasonal stores and holiday kiosks were located in about 1,000 cities across the country.

The West Fargo pop up is slated to open by Thanksgiving.
