West Fargo Schools hires two curriculum coordinators

Schools adds two more staff members

WEST FARGO — Kayla Lee and Erin Petersen have accepted positions as Learner-Centered Curriculum Coordinators for the district.  

Lee began her career in education in 2015 as a first-grade teacher for West Fargo Public Schools. In 2021, she accepted the position of math specialist at Freedom Elementary School.

Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Concordia College and a master’s degree in curriculum, instruction, and assessment from Walden University. 

Petersen began her career in education in 2000 for West Fargo Public Schools. She held teaching positions in the areas of English Learner, reading, and second grade before accepting an instructional coach position at Freedom Elementary School in 2015.

Petersen holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in reading education, both from the University of North Dakota.
