West Fargo's Cruise Night, Street Fair return this week

WEST FARGO — This week kicks off a Sheyenne season with the first of of four cruise nights and the city's annual street fair event.

The annual West Fargo Street Fair will take place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at The Downtown Yards on Sheyenne district.

West Fargo Street Fair is designed to celebrate the best of local artisans, crafters, vendors, food trucks and services. All of these local vendors will line up along Sheyenne Street from Fifth Avenue West to half a block south of Secone Avenue West.
The community is invited to shop, walk or just enjoy getting to know the many Yards Business Association members.

Sheyenne Street will be closing at 5 a.m. to allow for event setup to begin at 6:30 a.m.

But before the street fair begins on Saturday, the evening of Thursday, June 16, Sheyenne Street will be draw in thousands of spectators and vehicles for West Fargo's famed Cruise Night, which is presented by the City of West Fargo , West Fargo Events and Toppers Car Club .

Thursday's Cruise Night will be held from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 16, on Sheyenne Street from Main Avenue West to Seventh Avenue West.

Classic cars and motorcycles will line Sheyenne Street and vehicles are allowed to cruise one-way, southbound starting at Main Avenue West

Food vendors will also be available near the POW /MIA Plaza.

No registration is required to participate with a classic car during the event. Classic car parking begins at 4:30 p.m.

During the event, access to Sheyenne Street from side streets on the east and west sides of the road will be closed. There is no parking on Sheyenne Street in the event area beginning at 2 p.m. for event setup and the road will close at 4 p.m. A detour will be available on First Street for northbound traffic between Main Avenue West and Seventh Avenue West, during the event.

Thursday's Cruise Night kicks off the monthly summer event. Following Cruise Nights will be held Thursday, July 21, Thursday, Aug. 18, and Thursday, Sept. 15.
