One of the dozen defendants in a series of inside-job thefts at Fargo's Best Buy has agreed to pay $1,800 in restitution.
Chernel Magaga was set for a hearing concerning the restitution amount on Wednesday in Cass County District Court, but agreed to $1,800 earlier in the week, said Tanya Johnson Martinez, an assistant Cass County state's attorney.
Magaga was one of the 12 men charged in connection with $150,000 in electronic goods taken from Best Buy with help from two store security guards.
Magaga pleaded guilty on Sept. 13 to a charge of felony theft and was sentenced to 45 days in the county jail.
