1 arrested, 1 sought in Moorhead apartment invasion that forced MSUM lockdown

MOORHEAD - Moorhead police said one man has been arrested and another is being sought in connection with a Nov. 8 apartment invasion and robbery that briefly forced a lockdown at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Police said tips from citizens led to the arrest of Joshua Charles Lowe, 30, of Fargo, who is being held in the Cass County Jail on robbery and weapons charges.

Lowe is awaiting extradition to Clay County.

Also, police said, an arrest warrant has been issued for John Jose Kukert Jr., 21, of Fargo.

Moorhead police are asking for the public's help in locating Kukert.

The investigation is continuing and more arrests are possible, police said.

Anyone with information on Kukert's whereabouts are asked to call their local law enformcement agency.
