ENDERLIN, N.D. - Enderlin's 10th annual SunFest will kick off tonight with a pinto bean cook-off at the Enderlin VFW Club.
Beans should be ready by 5:30 p.m. for judging with everyone eating for free at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday will feature an all-you-can-eat fish fry at 5:30 p.m. in the VFW.
The following are some of the SunFest events happening Friday through Sunday:
Friday's events include a doughnut drive-through beginning at 8 a.m. in the city auditorium; a sunflower recipe contest from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the auditorium; German music and a tasting bee at noon under the tent.

Saturday's events begin at 7 a.m. with a Lion's Club pancake and sausage breakfast; Memory Walk 2005 to benefit those with Alzheimer's disease at 8 a.m.; a Farmer's Chase Race which includes a 5K and 1K kid's fun runs; karaoke at 8:30 p.m. in the Friendly Tavern; and an outdoor dance beginning at 9 p.m. featuring the Sam Bass Band.
On Sunday, a pancake and sausage breakfast will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Enderlin Airport. Other Sunday events include a book fair and all-you-can-eat buffet at 11 a.m. in DeNardo's on Railway Street.
