FARGO -- Cass County prosecutors have charged 11 more people in thefts from a Fargo Best Buy store, including two Bison football players and several others with ties to local collegiate athletics.

Garrett Fetters Johnson and Gregory Reid Jr., both suspended last month from North Dakota State University football for violating team rules, are among those charged today.

Authorities say an estimated $100,000 in merchandise was taken from the store between September and February.

Court documents say 19-year-old Fargo resident Adetimisola Ogundipe, who was a security guard at the store and was charged earlier, allegedly recruited others to help push carts full of electronics out of the store without paying.

Anthony Rocco Martin is charged with Class B felony theft of property, and Paul J. Larson faces Class C felony charges of theft of property and accomplice to theft of property.

Also charged with Class C felony property theft are Johnson and Reid Jr., two players that NDSU Head Coach Craig Bohl announced in late March were suspended. Bohl did not elaborate on why they were suspended.

Also charged are Chernel Kidzugane Magaga, Clarence Puty Taye, Christopher Michael Griffin, Daniel Jerome Offerman Jr., Jeffery M. Ingersol, Sheiku Tejan Deen, and Anthony Alexander Sands.

Offerman was a Bison football recruit but was deemed academically ineligible.

Sands is an MSUM offensive lineman who was charged with drunk driving last week. He has been suspended since March.
