3 arrested on drug charges in southwest ND

REGENT, N.D. - Three people were arrested in Regent for possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia charges on Friday. Jesse Clark, Shelly Forte and Carrie Hoeft were arrested by Hettinger County Sheriff's deputies.

REGENT, N.D. - Three people were arrested in Regent for possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia charges on Friday.

Jesse Clark, Shelly Forte and Carrie Hoeft were arrested by Hettinger County Sheriff’s deputies.

Clark, 36, was wanted on multiple felony narcotics warrants, according to a news release. Forte, 44, is from New England, and Hoeft, 43, is from Regent.

Regent is about 40 miles southwest of Dickinson.

The Hettinger County Sheriff’s Office said Monday it could not confirm what drugs were found in the suspects’ possession.

Earlier this month, Clark was also wanted for questioning by the Dickinson Police Department in relation to a burglary.

More charges are pending against the three suspects, who have been transported to the Southwest Multi-County Correction Center in Dickinson.

Officers with the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, the Belfield Police Department and the BCI Southwest Narcotics Task Force assisted with the arrests.
