MOORHEAD - A Fargo man arrested twice in Moorhead and once in Fargo on marijuana-dealing charges was arrested again Wednesday night by Moorhead police after he was allegedly caught driving erratically in someone else's car, toting a trunkful of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Moorhead officers spotted Thomas Lloyd Schultz driving a car erratically along 40th Avenue South about 5:30 p.m. and pulled him over in the 2300 block of Eighth Street South, police Lt. Tory Jacobson said.
That's when an officer recognized their two-time arrestee Schultz, and discovered the car belonged to a friend of Schultz's who didn't register the car and had insurance that was expired by a year, Jacobson said.
When told he had to leave the car with police, Schultz asked if he could retrieve some tools from the trunk.
When Schultz opened the trunk, the officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana, and found a cooler Schultz was trying to take that had marijuana, a grinder, a vaporizer and marijuana wax, the possession of which is a felony.

Schultz, 27, is no stranger to Moorhead police. He pleaded guilty in March in Clay County District Court to a felony marijuana distribution charge.
He was arrested and charged in a previous marijuana distribution case in Clay County, but his car and money were returned after a higher court ruling forced a district court judge to conclude that the search of his vehicle was unconstitutional.
"He's hauled some serious quantities of marijuana," said Jacobson, noting that the officer who initiated the traffic stop for erratic driving had no idea at the the time that it was Schultz behind the wheel. "I think he's clearly demonstrating, by his blatant behaviors, he doesn't have a heightened concern."
Schultz is set to change his plea to guilty at a hearing set for later this month Cass County Court, in a case in which he's accused of having dealer amounts of marijuana derivatives at his home in Fargo, according to court documents.
