RAPID CITY, S.D. - Sticking to the terms of a plea bargain, a judge on Wednesday sentenced John Krogman to 30 years in prison for a stabbing outside a fast-food restaurant that killed one woman and injured another.
Krogman, 61, had pleaded guilty to manslaughter and aggravated assault as part of a plea bargain in which the prosecution agreed to ask for no more than 30 years in prison.
Taco Johns' employees Brandi Standing Bear, 25, and Tammi Hamilton, 31, were stabbed as they talked in the parking lot after closing last Sept. 1. Standing Bear died.
