Tips to get rockin' at the dome

With a sellout crowd of 21,000 expected, traffic could get nasty near the Fargodome. Here are some traffic tips and reminders from dome officials:

  • Parking lots open at 4:30 p.m., and doors open at 6:30. Tailgating is not allowed in parking lots.
  • Watch out for pedestrians.
  • Message boards will direct drivers on Interstate 29 which ramp to take. It will rotate to lessen the traffic load.
  • In-town drivers should take Tenth Street North to either 19th Avenue North or 17th Avenue North.
  • Drivers on 12th Avenue heading to the show from the west are the exception and should take 18th Street North.
  • Once lots are full, overflow parking is at Fargo North High School on 17th Avenue North.
  • Buses should load on the dome's west side via Albrecht Avenue, and notify the dome by calling (701) 241-9100 and talking to Bernie Larson.
  • Limousine and other drop-offs will be on the dome's east side.
