Charges will be filed today against an adult female truant officer suspected of inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old boy, Assistant Cass County State's Attorney Gary Delorme said.
Delorme said late Thursday that he was still reviewing reports submitted by the Cass County Sheriff's Department.
The Forum typically does not name individuals suspected of crimes prior to an arrest or charges being filed.
An investigation began last week during the course of a search for a runaway juvenile, detective Steve Gabrielson said.
Gabrielson said the 28-year-old woman handled truancy cases for the Moorhead School District.

He said she was also an employee of Luther Hall in Fargo until late last week, when she resigned from the agency.
Mary Weiler, administrative director for Luther Hall, said she was barred by policy from discussing employees, past or present.
However, she said the agency, a residential treatment center for children and adolescents, conducts extensive background checks on all workers and she said there is no indication illegal activity occurred on agency property.
Moorhead Schools Superintendent Larry Nybladh said the truant officer is an employee of The Village in Fargo who has worked in Moorhead schools since September through the Clay County Collaborative.
A phone call to The Village was not returned Thursday.
