Fargo-Moorhead YMCA locations and area schools will sponsor rallies Thursday in observance of the 11th annual National Rally for Afterschool Programming.
Rallies are planned to celebrate the achievements of after-school students and to draw attention to the need for more after-school programs for children who are unsupervised and at risk each weekday afternoon.
Student art expos are planned at the following YMCA School Age Learning Centers:
- 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Horace Mann Elementary in Fargo.
- 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., L.E. Berger Elementary, Aurora Elementary and Westside Elementary in West Fargo; Horace Mann Elementary, Madison Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, Osgood Elementary and the Schlossman YMCA in Fargo.
- 5 to 6 p.m., Fercho YMCA in Fargo.
