People with commercial flights leaving this weekend from Fargo's Hector International Airport need to allow extra time.

Airport manager Shawn Dobberstein said customers should be patient with congestion caused by the Fargo AirSho and arrive at the airport twice as early.

People can access the airport by taking Interstate 29 and exiting at either 19th Avenue North or Cass County Road 20. Old Highway 81 will also be open.

Nineteenth Avenue from Dakota Drive to 18th Street and Dakota Drive from 19th Avenue to 12th Avenue will be closed.

Commercial flights scheduled between AirSho performances should leave on time if not early, Dobberstein said.

But the airport can't account for incoming flights that run late, Dobberstein said.

"The things that are out of our control are weather and mechanics," he said.
