Penalties for noncompliance in Fargo increase for repeat offenders whose violations occur within a year.

The first offense can result in a $500 fine if the manager and server on duty have not had certified server training. Multiple violations call for temporary suspension of the liquor license; the license is revoked after the seventh offense.
