Alcohol was a factor in fatal truck rollover

CARRINGTON, N.D. - A Carrington man died after rolling his pickup near Kensal early Thursday morning.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol:

Charles P. Carr, 41, was driving north on Highway 9 about 2:15 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road.

Carr's 2010 Dodge Ram truck went into the ditch, striking an approach. The truck came back to the road and rolled before it came to rest in the south ditch.

Carr was ejected from the pickup and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol was a contributing factor to the crash, according to a release form the State Patrol.

The accident remains under investigation.
