Curt Meine, conservation biologist and biographer of Aldo Leopold, will speak at 7:30 p.m. on April 7 in NDSU's CME Auditorium. His address is titled "Emergence of an Idea: Aldo Leopold and the Conservation of Biological Diversity." The lecture explores the history of conservation and evolution of the concept of biodiversity through the experience and writings of Aldo Leopold.
Meine is a research associate with the International Crane Foundation and a senior fellow with the Aldo Leopold Foundation. He is also a founder and member of the Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance in Sauk County, Wis.
