GRAND FORKS - The annual Red River Valley Motorcyclists show is this weekend at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.

Show times are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

This year's show is dedicated to Roger Ready, a longtime member of the Red River Valley Motorcyclists and the Christian Motorcycle Association who died in a motorcycle accident last summer.

Ready, a Larimore, N.D., residents, was known for helping people, including giving stuffed animals to children.

Motorcycle club members and other attendees are being asked to donate stuffed animals to "Cannon Bear Hugs," a program that gives teddy bears to patients in pediatric hospitals.

Jodi Hebl started the charity after her 9-month-old son, Cannon Bear Hebl, died in late 2008.

About 350 bears have been given to local patients.
