Apollo 8 commander Frank Borman will participate in a "Heritage Flight" during the 2003 Fargo AirSho on Independence Day.
The show, once again at Hector International Airport in Fargo, also will feature the Canadian Snowbirds Jet Team.
It will start at 10 a.m. July 4, with gates opening an hour earlier.
AirSho co-chairman Dick Walstad said Borman's appearance "is a real honor to the Red River Valley."
The Apollo 8 flight took place over Christmas season 1968 and was the first to orbit the moon. Borman and his fellow astronauts took part in a famous Christmas reading of the Book of Genesis, one of the highlights of the Apollo program.
