Robin Nelson, 35, has filed to run for a four-year term on the Fargo School Board.

Nelson was appointed to the board in December 2003 to fill the seat of the late Blake Miller. She also is co-president of the Longfellow PTA.

She and her husband, Roger, live in north Fargo. They have two sons. One will attend Ben Franklin Junior High next fall; the other will be at Longfellow Elementary.

Five seats on the Fargo Board of Education are up for election. One is a two-year seat to complete the remainder of Miller's term. The remaining seats are four-year terms.

Applications are available at the Business Manager District Office, 415 4th St. N., Fargo. The filing deadline is 4 p.m. April 12.
