Two national acts with local ties and have booked upcoming shows at The Venue.
Now living in Nashville, Tenn., the country group 32 Below started out playing the Fargo-Moorhead bar scene. The quintet may have moved on but returns for two shows at The Venue on Feb. 14 and 15. Tickets are $10 for both shows, with the 14th an all-ages event and the 15th 21 and older. Music starts both nights at 8 p.m.
Nearly two years after Virginia headbangers Lamb of God rocked Playmakers, the heavy metal group returns to play the Venue on March 7. In December the five-piece was nominated for a Grammy award in the Hard Rock and Metal category for the song "Redneck" off last year's album, "Sacrament." Tickets for this all-ages show, which includes Trivium, Machinehead and Gojira are on sale at Ticketmaster outlets for $23, $26 the day of the show.
