Argusville man injured when dog bites his face

Authorities responded late Wednesday to reports of a 28-year-old Argusville, N.D., man injured after a dog bit him in the face.

Police arrived at the 2200 block of 173rd Ave. S.E. shortly after 11 p.m. to find the man half-conscious with two gashes on his face, according to an incident report.

The man, whose name was not reported, was breathing abnormally, the report states.

The dog was locked in the home's basement.

Argusville is about 10 miles north of Fargo.
