ARTHUR, N.D. - A 61-year-old man was snowmobiling Saturday in Arthur when he was hit by a pickup truck, according to a Cass County Sheriff's Department news release.
Richard Sellars of Arthur was LifeFlighted to MeritCare Hospital after the sheriff's department received a call about 3:20 p.m. A MeritCare spokeswoman could not release details on Sellars on Saturday night.
Sellars was driving a snowmobile across Main Street and Sixth Avenue in Arthur when he was hit in the intersection by a pickup driven by 50-year-old Hans Erickson of Argusville. Sellars was knocked from the snowmobile onto the street.
The state patrol, Hunter Ambulance and F-M Ambulance also responded to the accident. The investigation is continuing.
