Arthur residents plan 125th celebration

Arthur, N.D., will observe its 125th anniversary July 13-15 with a number of events, including an all-school reunion July 3 at the Arthur gym. A steak fry and karaoke highlight the reunion which begins at 6 p.m.

Arthur, N.D., will observe its 125th anniversary July 13-15 with a number of events, including an all-school reunion July 3 at the Arthur gym.

A steak fry and karaoke highlight the reunion which begins at 6 p.m. Saturday events include a 5K walk/run organized by Tom Burchill; a parade coordinated by Sara Erstoesser, and vendors scheduled by Tina Huwe.

Other Saturday events will be a softball tournament, firemen's rodeo, a musical program, bus tours to Northern Cass School, a tractor show and a street dance.

An ecumenical worship on Sunday is followed by a meal at the community hall and a pinewood derby, coordinated by Mary Horak.
