An Ashby, Minn., man was arrested early today for allegedly displaying a knife during a dispute with family members, Moorhead police said.

Joshua Quam, 22, was arrested on felony charges of second-degree assault and terroristic threats, and misdemeanor charges of fifth-degree domestic assault and disorderly conduct in the incident, Sgt. Joel Scharf said.

Quam is accused of displaying a knife while arguing with his brother, Evan Quam, and sister, Amanda Quam, police said.

Police were called to an apartment at 1605 20th St. S., at 12:07 a.m. to investigate the disturbance.

When police arrived, Joshua Quam had left the scene on foot. He returned to the residence while officers were searching for him.
