A 22-year-old Ashby, Minn., man made his first court appearance Monday on charges stemming from a domestic altercation involving a knife.
Joshua James Quam is charged in Clay County District Court with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, terroristic threats and domestic assault.
Moorhead police responded to a disturbance just after midnight Friday at 1605 20th St. S.
Quam displayed a knife during a dispute with his brother, Evan Quam, and sister, Amanda Quam, a police report said. No one was injured in the incident, according to the report.
He was being held in the Clay County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond or $1,000 cash bail.
