Minnesota author Lorna Landvik will speak on her writing, her inspiration and her books tonight at 7 at Perham (Minn.) United Methodist Church.
Landvik, an actor and comedian, has written and produced plays in which she also performs. She is the author of six books - among them, "Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons," "Patty Jane's House of Curl" and her latest, "Oh My Stars."
Her program is given in memory of Jan Bennison, a former Fargo resident and longtime library volunteer and member of the United Methodist Church.
The program is free and open to the public. Coffee and dessert will be served at the end of the program.
