LISBON, N.D. - Ransom County authorities have released the name of a man killed in a hunting accident Friday near here.

Authorities said 53-year-old Wesley Alinder of Lisbon was shot northwest of the city about 90 minutes after the deer season started Friday. The sheriff's office said Alinder was with a hunting party, but details on the shooting have not been released.

Sheriff Jim Klinicke said the shooting is under investigation. Officials say it appears to have been accidental.
