SOUTH ROUND LAKE TOWNSHIP, Minn. – Two people were killed and two others were injured Friday, April 20, in an early morning single-vehicle crash near here.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office said it got a report shortly before 2 a.m. Friday of a crash on county Highway 35 west of Ice Cracking Lodge. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the victims as Philip Edward Warren, 56, of Mahnomen, Minn., and Lorraine Lynn Warren, 55, of Ponsford, Minn.
Two other occupants, 44-year-old Cynthia Ann Jones, of Mahnomen, and 32-year-old Robert James Warren, of Ponsford, were injured. Jones was taken by ambulance to Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes, while Warren was airlifted to Essentia Hospital in Fargo.
The sheriff’s office said the extent of their injuries was unknown Friday morning.
