A man armed with a knife robbed a rural Detroit Lakes, Minn., convenience store of an undisclosed amount of money Thursday night.
The incident happened about 10 p.m. Thursday at the County 6 BP convenience store at the intersection of Highway 59 and County Road 6.
The robber entered the store by knocking on the back door. A female clerk, assuming it was a friend or co-worker, opened the door and was confronted by a male wearing a ski mask and brandishing a knife, the Sheriff's Department said.
Two money bags were stolen, though officials did not disclose how much money was involved.
The robber fled on foot.
