Grand Forks, N.D., gets a chance to wish B.B. King a belated happy birthday when the blues guitarist settles in for a concert at the Chester Fritz Auditorium Dec. 7.
King celebrated his 80th birthday in September with the release of "80." The disc features duets with Van Morrison, Sheryl Crow, Elton John, John Mayer and Eric Clapton, whose 2000 release, "Riding with the King" was a collaboration between the two friends.
Tickets are $39.50, $49.50 and $75 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster outlets.
