MOORHEAD - Beer is apparently all that was stolen during a burglary overnight at the Oasis Convenience Store in north Moorhead, Clay County authorities say.

MOORHEAD - Beer is apparently all that was stolen during a burglary overnight at the Oasis Convenience Store in north Moorhead, Clay County authorities say.

Deputies responded at about 2:30 a.m. to the store at 209 Wall Street Ave. N. after the store's alarm was tripped, said Chief Deputy Matt Siiro of the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

The store's front door and the door to the liquor area, both made of glass, were broken during the burglary, Siiro said.

Authorities don't know how many people were involved in the burglary, but whoever it was had fled before deputies arrived, Siiro said.

A case or two of beer was missing from the store, he said.

Surveillance video wasn't helpful in the investigation, Siiro said.
