A team of math students from Fargo's Ben Franklin Junior High placed second in the annual state Mathcounts competition held Monday in Bismarck.
Jasmine Cloven, Andy Johnson, Parnish Kantak and Philip Nelson were members of the team.
A team from Jamestown Middle School placed first.
