The city of Moorhead has placed the bike bridge connecting Moorhead's Gooseberry and Fargo's Lindenwood parks back in service after it was retrieved from the Red River.

The bridge sustained minor damage after toppling from its concrete piers during a flood in June.

The bike bridge at Moorhead's Memorial Park/Fargo's Oak Grove was inspected and returned into service last month.

The floating bridge at the Midtown Dam will be put back on the river when the river falls to a safe level for city staff to reinstall the bridge sections.
