The Moorhead Police Department bike patrol unit is hosting a bike safety rodeo Saturday.

It will be held from 1-4 p.m. in the Kmart parking lot in the EasTen Mall.

Children will be allowed to test their bike riding skills on a course monitored by the bike patrol unit.

Helmets are required and can be purchased at the rodeo.

Loaner bikes will be available for use.

Door prizes will be given away and there will be displays and demonstrations by Lifeflight, F-M Ambulance, the Moorhead Fire Department, the Moorhead police K-9 unit and the police DARE Corvette.
