Minnesota-born Paul Gruchow won national acclaim for his book "The Necessity of Empty Spaces," edited the Worthington Globe newspaper and served as news and public affairs director for Minnesota Public Radio. "The Grace of Grass and Water: Writing in Honor of Paul Gruchow," features work by individuals whose lives were touched by that of Gruchow, plus work by Gruchow himself, who died of a drug overdose in 2004. Authors Mark Vinz and Bill Holm will read from "The Grace of Grass and Water" at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Zandbroz Variety. The event is free. Call (701) 239-4729 for more information.
